The lecture of Archbishop Prof. Ignacio Carrasco de Paula, the Chairperson of the Pontifical Academy for Life, entitled “Holiness of Human life” inaugurated the 3rd International Interdisciplinary Conference ”One world –- many cultures. Humans and their environment from the cultural, legal, economic and social perspective”. The plenary session included the following lectures:

• Prof. dr hab. Alicja Grześkowiak, The teaching of Benedict XVI on a family, Kujawy and Pomorze University in Bydgoszcz,
• Prof. Flavio Felice, Economia, ambiente, uomo. La questione ecologica oggi – Economics, environment, human. Problem of ecology today, Pontifical Lateran University in Rome,
• Fr. Joseph Ryan and Barbara Kentish, How to show the face of Justice and Peace in a multi-cultural society, Diocese of Westminster Justice and Peace Commission, London,
• Prof. dr hab. Olga Nesterchuk, Horror-management in the internet as a means of social and political control by the russian young people, Russian State Social University, Moscow,
• Prof. Rev. Mariusz Kuciński, PhD, Man in cultural perspective in the teaching of Benedict XVI, Kujawy and Pomorze University in Bydgoszcz, the Head of the Ratzinger Studies Centre
